A Soggy Morning For Christmas Photos

I might be the only person in town who woke up this morning and was excited to see the rain was going to continue for a while. I knew that I could make some reflection photos with Christmas lights. The Long Center was looking good with a little extra green and red on it. A nice sized puddle on the street allowed for me to make this image. I came away with soggy knees but it was worth it.

If At First You Don’t Succeed

My main goal on the day was to make a photo of the new sign at the depot downtown. Of course the lights were off. I then went down to the Lafayette Theater to make that photo. Of course the marquee was off there. I made the photo above of the Long Center before deciding that the Haan Mansion would look great at blue hour. The lights were off there too. I know that it is morning, but since we drive to work/school in the dark we might as well have some Christmas lights to look at. We need to all set our timers better to let more Christmas spirit in.
