A Bad Day In Dallas 60 Years Ago

Sixty years ago today John F Kennedy was killed while visiting Dallas, Texas. I was not alive at the time, but it has always been a period in time that fascinated me. I have been reliving some of those events the last few days with the anniversary coming up. During a trip to Boston in 2016 one of the must see places was the Kennedy Library. I have been to a few Presidential Libraries now, and this was by far the best to photograph from the outside. They really put a lot of thought into every part of it.

A Good Watch

Right now on Disney+ they have a great new documentary about the events in Dallas and the days following called JFK: One Day In America. It is a three parter that really gets you in pretty deep. In high school I wrote a way too long research paper about this topic as it really fascinated me at the time. The documentary was a great way to refresh my memory about the events of that terrible day in November 1963.
