Finding Some Emotion On The Mat

The photo above was the highlight for me during the duals yesterday. With time winding down the only chance that this Boiler had to win was to score a takedown. The action was on the other side of the mat so I focused on the bench next to me. I got some pre-move emotion as well as some after he scored the takedown to get the win. I quickly panned over to him to grab this photo that you see above. During these early season duals you rarely have emotion like this, but it was a great last second win and deserved it. It was a fun few moments to try and capture.

The End Of The Run

I don’t even know when this run started, but I have photographed a sporting event every day for over a week straight now. It was a heck of a run photographing high school football, college football, a return to volleyball and wrestling, and a ton of high school basketball. With a basketball tournament this weekend it was always going to be a long stretch of events. This week is a much lighter week. At this point I think there are only two events on the schedule. This was a fun way to cap off a long run of events. Now time to make some photos for the blog that have nothing to do with sports for a couple of days.
