The Sign On The Lafayette Theater

After dinner on Main Street one night I walked down a bit to make this photo. I have made this photo a ton of times, but I liked that they changed the marquee again. I really wish that they could find more uses for this grand old building. I have not been inside of it in years. It is such a cool venue that I would like to photograph inside as much as I do the exterior.

My New Walk Around Lens

I bought the Tamron 28-200mm lens because it might work okay for my infrared camera. I took it on the trip to Cincinnati because I had thoughts of attending a Reds game, and it would give me great coverage in one lens. I ended up using it for many photos on that trip including my photos of the Taylor Swift concert from the Roebling Bridge. It is a very sharp lens that has a good range. At times I wish it was wider, but you can’t have everything. For now this lens has taken the place of my 24-105mm lens for most of my walking around photos.
