John Wooden And A Glowing Mackey Arena

Mackey Arena Glows On A Hot August Night

Back in August I went for a walk on a hot night on campus. I parked near Mackey so I had to walk by it on my way into campus and on my way home. As I walked by here it was getting late and I had the place all to myself. I took my time and set this photo up to make sure that it worked out for me. I knew that the CineStill 800T would make the lights of Mackey glow so I wanted it to come out just right. When my film came in this was one of the first photos that I went to see. I was very happy that it came out the way that I had hoped it would.

Color Or Black And White?

This is one photo where I could not decide whether or not to post it in color or black and white. I like elements of both of them so why not post both? Do you have a favorite between the two? I am seeing a trend with this film where I want to convert most of it over to black and white. The color cast just tells me to do it. I feel like this film will end up getting processed much like my infrared film. The fun of this film adventure has been trying new things on a new medium. A film like CineStill 800T lets me do that. There might even be a way to get this out for some snokeh photos. That could be really fun. When does it snow again?
