A Little Snow On Halloween

Last night while handing out candy the snow started to come down. Earlier in the night I had that thought that we should just start playing Christmas music starting today. I was all for the feel good sounds. I didn’t realize that we would get a white Halloween. It will probably be fifty degrees on Christmas morning. I made a quick walk around this local graveyard with my snokeh setup to make some photos.

Snokeh Season A Little Early

I love making snokeh photos. The conditions were perfect for a couple of minutes last night to make them. You need a few large flakes in the frame with little to no wind. That way they come down straight and you can predict where they will be. This was a fun warm up for what I hope will be a long snokeh season this year. If it is going to be cold it might as well snow a little bit. When that snow happens after dark then I can have some fun with my camera.
