Photographing Lambert Fieldhouse On Wolfman 100 Speed Film

Sometimes the Wolfman comes out during the day. Here I walked campus with the Film Photography Project’s Wolfman 100 speed film on a cloudy day. This would have been a boring day for color photography so having some fun black and white film was a good way to make some images. I went out to campus with two film stocks with monster names on them. One of them was a Frankenstein inspired film, and the other was this Wolfman film. Both of them have an old black and white feel to them. Here I think that it helped me make an image that has a vintage look to it.

Capturing Time

As I said above one thing that I like about this photo is that it could have been taken at any time. The bikes are far enough away so that you can’t see if they are new or not. As I was making this photo I remember thinking that one of the food delivery robots in the middle of the frame would have been perfect. It would have given a clue as to when the photo was made. Now though I like that it has not too many clues as to when it was made.
