Catching A Sunrise At The Purdue Union Club Hotel

This photo was part of a fun morning walk around the campus of Purdue. The sky was looking good in all directions, and this is one of the final photos that I made. Those pink clouds did not last long so I was moving pretty quickly to find subjects. The Union Hotel is always a good subject that I don’t photograph enough. Here it makes for a nice image.

A Bonus Ad

This blog does not currently have ads, but I thought that it would be interesting to leave the Purdue For Life banner in the corner of this image. I could have walked a step or two forward and it would have been out of my frame, but those banners as you walk campus kind of show the time that the photo was made. I put it in my photo knowing how easy it is to take things out these days. What do you think? Should I have left the banner out of the photo? Below you can see a version with the banner gone.
