Finally Seeing Brian Regan Live
Brian Regan is a comedy name that I have known for years. I found him in the early days of satellite radio, and have followed him ever since. I have always wanted to see him live, but things never seemed to work out. That all changed last night at the Long Center. Brian is a comic that seems to see things the way that I do. Jim Gaffigan is another of those comics. There were parts of his show that could have been me, and that relatable comedy is why he has had such a long career. Now that I have finally seen Brian in person I hope that I get to see him live again sooner rather than later. This whole week of comedy in Lafayette has given me hope that more big names will make their way through here. I really wanted this week to succeed so that we can get more of this.
Using The Sony RX100VI
Last night I was not sure about the camera situation in the Long Center so I just took my point and shoot. This little Sony though packs a punch and is the reason that I switched over to Sony from Canon. It is just a little thing, but it really gets the job done. Brian is a comic that is constantly moving so I had to pick and choose what I wanted to freeze at times, but it was a great way for me to make a couple of photos. I wanted to sit back and watch the show and not really worry about photography so this was the choice. If I had brought one of my big Sonys I would have been focused on photography a little more I think.
