Making Some Photos Of The Purdue Train In Lafayette

For years now I have driven by the Purdue train in Lafayette thinking about making a photo of it. One day I finally stopped and did just that. In fact I used quite a few cameras on it. I love this old train and wanted to capture it while it was still around. Without knowing why it is there I couldn’t be sure how long it would be there. I like this old Purdue Pete logo, and thought that it would make for an interesting photo. The patina on the train car help make this an interesting photo.

A Fun Homecoming Week

As I write this it is Purdues homecoming week. I am not sure when this post will go live, but at the moment I have been having fun going through some old Purdue photos and making posts with them. Homecoming is a little bit easier now than it used to be since I live in town. Every day is kind of a homecoming. When I lived in Iowa though I really loved the idea of coming back to Purdue for a couple of days. It is always great to be around familiar things when you have moved away.
