Magic Glass

The Magic Glass Sign

A couple of weeks ago I was heading to Loeb Stadium to photograph a soccer match. I passed the Magic Glass sign and pulled into the parking lot to make a photo of it. If you attended a Lafayette Aviator game this past summer then you know that they would play the sound of glass breaking for every foul ball hit out of the stadium. On Thursday nights a group of Purdue employees would start chanting Magic Glass over and over. As the season went on it became a thing, and even the team started doing it. It was a fun memory from this past summer that this photo helps me remember.

A Little Bit Of Everything

In the past I was told that I needed to make this blog very specific if I wanted to get more views. I kind of photograph everything so that is what I post here.  I like to think that everything that I photograph makes me better in some other area of my photography as well. This is a kind of photo that I would never have posted in the past though. The sky is nice, and the sign has a nice older look to it, but I would have wanted more to the photo. I had a good memory of the company though so I decided to post it. When this blog is something that excites me I think that it shows and more people will read it. Since I started posting things that interested me the viewership has gone through the roof. I have never had numbers like I have the last couple of months. I like that people are willing to go on this crazy journey with me. I never know where it is going, but it seems to always be fun along the way.
