Black And Gold Gameday On Kodak Gold

Having Some Fun On Game Day

It has been a while since I was at a college football game with no real punch list of what I needed to photograph. It was kind of fun to think about the fact that I could photograph whatever I wanted. I took a forty year old point and shoot film camera with me to have a little fun on the day. I knew that I would never make any serious photos with it, but it was a fun way to keep my eyes open throughout the day.

The First Rolls Of Film

The photos I made here were the first two rolls of film out of this camera for me. I had never used the before those rolls. As I looked through my scans I realized that the camera could be a little touchy and that I just needed to let it do the work. A couple of photos that I really was excited to see came out a little dark. I have to work with this camera a little more, but then I think it would be neat to try this idea again. I love the way that Ross Ade looks on film. Below are some of the photos from my day with this camera. In all I exposed about 40 frames on the day.
