A Quick Photo From The Red Light

The other night while in my way up to campus I was stopped at the stop light in front of the West Lafayette fire station #2. The wet pavement and the bright light made for a cool scene. I quickly grabbed my camera and made a photo. Lately I have been trying to be more intentional with my photography. Less of the grab and point type photos. Sometimes though a cool scene presents itself and you have to make a photo of it.

Thinking Of 9/11

I made this photo on September 11th. I had spent the day seeing images of firefighters in New York from 22 years earlier that didn’t make it out of the twin towers. These guys don’t have it easy, and I always want to stop by and thank them for what they do. One of these days I will have to.
