A New Look Ross Ade Stadium

This past off season work was done to transform how we look at Ross Ade Stadium. While out on a photowalk a while back it really dawned on me just how different everything will be. Most of what I think of during game days will now be different. The players will enter the field from a different spot, and the south end zone will be closed off. Later today it will feel really crazy when this place is packed with fans all around us. I can’t wait to see how it photographs. I have a couple of ideas of wide images to show off the new features of the stadium. Hopefully things work out like I hope that they will to make that happen.

The Old Look Of Ilford

Ilford film just has a look that makes everything look a little aged. I have photographed the stadium with a couple of different cameras and films, but this was the photo that I liked the best. As I write this I don’t know what film that I will use today, but I hope that I can make some interesting images while I am there. Below is a photo made with Lomography Color Negative 100. I kind of like how that one looks as well. For the campus construction photos that I have been making though I think that Ilford is the way to go.
