The Light After Nine

Late Day Light On Campus

A few weeks ago when the smoke was in the area I was on the top of a parking garage photographing sunset. Of course the sun set much quicker into the smoke than normal so I had some extra time when I should have been making sunset photos to make other photos. There was a nice even light everywhere so I just started pointing my camera all around. I have made this photo a few times, but there is always something different in it so I made it one more time. I think that they are reimagining some of this part of campus so it will be interesting to see what changes around here when they do.

Trying To Think Differently

This summer was one where I was trying to re-wire my brain as far as photography goes. I have always been a wide angle show it all kind of photographer. This year I have been trying to retrain my brain for other kinds of photography. Here you do not see the whole building, but the photos still works for me. It has been fun and refreshing to go back and rethink photography a little. It has reminded me of the early days of this blog a little bit. You may fail a lot, but you are learning from each failure.
