Finding Details In A Small Town
Part of the fun that I have been having this summer is finding more of the details from the places that I visit. When I first started photography and started collecting wide angle lenses every photo then had to be an epic wide photo. Small little detail photos like the one above are also fun to make. Trying to find little compositions everywhere opens you up to many more opportunities to make photos. I think that this was my favorite of all of the detail photos that I made in downtown Otterbein that day.
The Perfect Time Of Day
This might have been the perfect time of day to be at this spot. The light is just raking off of the side of the building creating some fun shadows. I originally walked over to this spot to try and make a photo of the large Mail Pouch ad on the side of the building, but the light was not right for what I wanted to do. This was more than a good consolation prize for my walk.
