Slowing Down On State Street

This is a photo that took a couple of days to make. I stopped on this corner one very hot night after seeing the Indiana Jones movie just down the road. I made a photo that I liked, but I knew that I could make something better during blue hour. A few nights later I was back in better light to try it out. I liked the idea of streaking the cars with the great light in the sky. I think that this worked out very good, and it was a great way to relax a little bit.

The Calm Before The Storm

This photo would probably not be possible when school is in session at Purdue. The foot traffic around me would not have let it happen. On the other hand I probably would have had more cars in the frame for my lights trails. Here things were sparse and it took a little patience to get multiple cars in one photo.
