My Favorite Photos From The 2023 West Lafayette Baseball Season

This year I knew that I wanted to get out to Bob Friend Field more than I have in the past. The team had a new coach as they had hired Dave Wood to take the helm. As practices began I could already see a change in the team. I would be walking by those practices as I picked my little one up, and it was all about hustle.

As with most year end posts on this blog I will say that I didn’t get to as many games this year as I would have liked. Seeing the boys nearly every single day after school made me feel like I saw them much more often play than I did. I think that this program is headed in the right direction and it will be fun to see what they can do in the next couple of years. I will leave you with one more photo. For the first time since 2012 a West Side player was selected to the Indiana All Star game. Evan Cooke represented West Side very well in the game so even though he is not wearing a Red Devil uniform here I thought that I would close the post with him in the game. Maybe they can make it two years in a row next year.
