One Last Sunday With The Lafayette Aviators
Yesterday I went to Loeb Stadium knowing I only had a couple of innings to make photos. I was hoping for some action early on that would give me a few photos. They had a great second inning that had a lot of action and let me make a few photos before I had to leave. A couple of hours later the team would walk it off in the 10th inning. This is the fourth season now where I have made photos of the Aviators in some official capacity. It will be sad when the season is over at the end of the week.
Baseball Season Is Winding Down
This is the last week that the Aviators will be playing. They have a few more home games, and then baseball season is over for me. There is the off chance of a couple of fall ball games, but those are just a glorified practice, and the emotion is just not there. Baseball is one of my favorite sports to photograph, and it will be a long winter without it. I have to make the most of these next few games. In the coming days I will start looking back at my favorite high school softball and baseball photos from this past spring. It is kind of a fitting week to do that as the baseball season is winding down. For now here are a few of my favorite photos from the game yesterday.
