Thinking Back To Fun Times In Grant Park

When NASCAR had their street race in Chicago a few weeks ago it was one of the few that I tuned into this year. In fact it is the only one that I watched very much of. They were racing through some of my favorite parts of Chicago. I have had many photowalks through this area of the city over the years, and it never gets old making photos around the area.

Going Back In Time

I made this photo nearly ten years ago in Chicago. It is fun going back through those old photos because at this time I loved to make everything wide and grand. I didn’t often focus on the details like in the photo above. I did not like the look. Looking back now though this photo has a lot of depth with a lot to see as you go back through the frame. I kind of like how it turned out even if it took years for me to really appreciate it.
