Back At Loeb Stadium
It has been a while since I was last at Loeb Stadium. I think that I had twelve days in between games. For me that is a long time. It was kind of nice to take a little break though. The Aviator galleries don’t do very well for some reason so I decided to take a break and try some other kinds of photography. It was good to get away from sports for a while, and it was at the perfect time with the high school and college seasons starting back up soon.
Traveling Light
I knew that I was not going to put together a full game gallery. I decided that with limited views on the galleries this year that I would just make photos the rest of the season for me. As much fun as it is to kneel in chew spit to get the photo I decided to save that for another day. For the game I had a 24mm and a 50mm lens on me. That would limit what I could make, but in a good way. It would force me to think outside of the box a little. It would also cut my editing time down dramatically as well. I went to the stadium thinking about making just a few photos with the sun setting. As the light was good the game was kind of out of reach so I went down the road to make a blue hour photo. I have to admit that it was nice to just spend a couple of minutes editing my photos instead of an hour or so. Below are a few bonus photos from my trip to Loeb.
