A Weird Time To Post

The other night I was out and about making photos around the Levee area. I had no intentions of making a photo of the JL Record store, but the light was right so I did. This morning I saw the news that the owner had died. I am not one to post stuff just for clicks, but this is a place where we have bought a lot of items over the years. The sign says JL Records, but they sold all kinds of media. I was sad to hear the news, and I knew that the photo would go up today.

Things Are Changing

This area just off of campus is about to have a major change again. Just after I left campus it had a major change when they changed the roads and tore down the old swiss chalet version of Brunos. Now Bruno’s is in the way again and will be torn down. I decided to go out and photograph as much of the area as it is now as I could. This sounds like a job with an expiration date, but the way that things change around here this is a side project that should keep me busy as long as I want it too.
