Spending A Few Hours At Von’s

On Thursday we spent a few hours inside of Von’s. When we walked out of the store I realized that our store parking was only good for one hour. We didn’t end up getting a ticket as I doubt they were checking, but I don’t know how you can spend less than an hour inside of Von’s. There is just too much to look at. You can just get lost in the racks of books downstairs. It is interesting to see how the store has evolved over time. After Von’s we walked across the street for some boba. We took it outside and I made the photo of the day while sitting at one of the tables outside of the restaurant. Sometimes you have a cool photo idea, and then something comes along to make it a little better. This was one of those times.

Thinking About A Change

I don’t do a deep dive into the blogs numbers very often. I usually do not want to change what I do based on them. I love just making photos that I want to make. One thing that I noticed though was that very few people actually open up the posts. When it is a single image post like today that is not a big deal. When I have multiple images in a post though that means that anything other than the top photo is not seen. That made me think about not running as many of those types of posts. The photo above would have been one of those images that I liked, but was included later in the post. I have been thinking crazy thoughts about posting multiple times a day on this blog. It is already hard to write a post a day. I have been doing this for well over a decade now. Adding more to that workload really does start to sound like work. I will experiment for the rest of the year with what I want to do. I still love the writing process, but I am not always in the mood to write. I may just have days where you get a title and a photo. I may start tinkering with the double posts starting on Monday. The weekends are usually not the best time for my posts so I may just stick to one a day on Saturday and Sunday.
