Hanging Out At The Great American Ballpark
Last weekend in Cincinnati the local MLB team was playing. Of course they were competing with Taylor Swift just a couple of blocks to the west of them. I was with my family at the Taygate that stretched from Paycor Field right up to the street that comes right up to the Great American Ballpark. I walked up to the stadium with the game tied, and by the time I walked away the Padres had a pretty good lead. I have never been this close to a park with a game going on and not gone into the stadium. Part of that though is the fact that the stadiums are genuinely pretty far away from where I live. If I am that close on game day then I probably went there to see the game. Seeing the sights and sounds of the park made me want to head inside, but the bag rule kept me out. I had my shoulder bag with me for my photos that I made later that night. It is always cool to be around the stadium on a game day though.
A Great Museum
With the game going on I was told that I couldn’t walk through the museum that the Reds have right next to the park. It really is an awesome museum though that I have been to a few times now. They really do it right. The NL Central has two of the best museums around in Cincinnati and St. Louis. I need to budget time to visit this museum again in the future. For now here are a couple of bonus photos from my time outside of the ballpark.
