Sunrise In The Queen City

Over the last few years I have been to Cincinnati quite a few times. Most of the time that I have been there though it seems like I would go straight to the campus of Xavier or just outside of town to Mason for some baseball. In 2017 we went as a family though for a concert and stayed downtown. One of those mornings I was up early making photos. We will descend on Cincinnati again this weekend for Taylor Swift. I have some plans for some photos during the shows, but who knows if I will even be able to get to some of the spots that I have in mind. Hopefully I can have something cool to show you when we get back.

Finding One You Missed

This was a photo that I passed over when I first went through these photos in 2017. I made this as part of a three image HDR. That HDR never looked right though so I forgot about it. Going back through my photos from that trip I realized that just the one image was nearly there on its own. I used to have to see every detail in an image. I kind of like how the sunrise is blown out a bit here. It is always fun to look through old photos and to find ones that you didn’t know what to do with. With time sometimes you have an idea for the photo.
