Dragging The Field After The Game

Earlier this year just as my little ones softball game was ending the light started to get amazing. I was really hoping that they could get one more inning in because she would have batted with this great light. That didn’t happen though so I started making some portraits of the kids in this light. Then I saw one of the coaches for the other team dragging the field and the God rays coming through the trees. I now had a subject for my photo.

Making Photos At All Of The Fields

This year I set a goal of making a photo at all of my little ones away games. She played her first game at this field on a cold and rainy night, but I still came away with a couple of images that I liked. Here it was nearly 50 degrees warmer with some great light. I was glad to be able to make another photo from this cool field behind Cole Elementary School. They have a  really cool setup here that just makes photos pretty easy.
