A Song Sparrow Strikes A Pose For Me

Last week while at the Celery Bog I went for a little different walk than I normally do. I walked out in the more open areas to try and find something a little different. I photographed a couple of birds, but this song sparrow seemed like it kept posing for me. It just kept finding perches closer and closer to me until it grabbed this stick not far in front of me. It gave me a good background, and it gave me a couple of posing choices to choose from. This pose was my favorite from our session.

A Crazy Background

The slightly overcast day along with the nice green grasses in this area gave me an amazing background here. At this point in photography it seems like you could give yourself whatever kind of background that you would want. The tools are there. There is something great about finding a nice clean background in the field though.
