The Roberto Clemente Statue At PNC Park

One of the highlights for me on our trip to Pittsburgh was to see the Roberto Clemente statue located next to the park and the Roberto Clemente Bridge. Clemente was one of the best to ever play the game along with being a truly great man. Just before our second game I walked down to check out the statue of him that the Pirates have placed there.

Larger Than Life

This statue is larger than life. It fits that man that it was made for. This is a great way for fans to first see this park after coming over on the Clemente Bridge. I put the 11-24mm lens right up to the statue to try and show some of the larger than life nature of it.
