Getting A Good View Of An Ocean City Sunset

When we visit Ocean City we always stay on the Ocean side of the city so we rarely get an unobstructed view of the sunset over the bay. Being with family I rarely take off to get a sunset shot. If I had a grand idea maybe I would, but most of my ideas are set up for sunsets. After dinner one night though the sun was setting so we walked down to the bay so that I could make a couple of photos. I liked how this one turned out.

Getting Inspired

This photo sat on my website for almost four years without me ever thinking of sharing it. I have been watching some Art Wolfe videos lately where he talks about what inspires him. I went back to some of my older photos looking at them to see what I could have done better. Here I realized that this was just a crop away from being something to share. I cropped out some of the sky that was not adding to the photo, and I thought it was much better.
