Purdue Football Homecoming Game

Gelen Gets Sack #2

In the second quarter true freshman Gelen Robinson came free to get his second sack of his career. I don’t have a crystal ball, but I have a feeling that their are many more where this one came from. I was keying on him prior to the play so I have a nice series of him taking down the quarterback. I may post that later in the week.

Big Day For Frankie Williams

Frankie Williams seems to just be a playmaker on the field. He has shown that he can run with the ball in the open field on punt returns. When he picked off a ball in the first quarter he made sure that the Boilers had the lead by taking it to the house. He is pictured above giving the Boilers good field position again with a nice punt return.

The Selfie Helmet

As part of the homecoming festivities the Boilers wore a special helmet with photos of season ticket holders on it. This was a great idea that also looked pretty cool. Purdue sophomore Evan Panfil is shown here modeling it for me.

Dave Butz Returns to Campus

Dave Butz was the guest of honor for the homecoming game. During the first half he was honored for his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. He then also led the crowd in the singing of ‘Shout.’ It was great to see so many former Boiler players on campus today.

More Photos From the Game

I really have not had the time to go through the photos the way that I normally would yet. I have found a few that I have liked though. Here are a few that I thought that I would share.
