Park Here

Parking is Hard to Find in the Big City

While in Chicago this past spring I kept walking by this location. It seemed like I was always missing it when a train was coming through. Here I finally was able to walk by at the right time. I had my camera on my Black Rapid strap on my body so it was easy to grab it and shoot. I just loved how all of the elements came together here. It is a snapshot of a day in the life of many of the people of Chicago.

Shooting the Everyday

On this past trip to Chicago I did not have much time to make photographs. We had a limited amount of time in town, and most of it was spoken for. The prior trip though I had lots of time to make pictures of things that I don’t normally get to see. This is one of those photos from that trip. I set out to make pictures of things that were not so obvious. I think that this one was successful.

  1. Going to Chicago in a couple of weeks for the first time. Can’t wait. Your photo got me in the mood. Two days of my trip (while my husband is workin), will be spent taking city and lake photos. Love this one!
