Just One More Photo
Saturday was a very long day. I spent about 12 hours straight either shooting or editing photos of two different events. It started with the football game Saturday morning. I got to the stadium a bit early as usual to warm up a bit myself. As soon as the game was over I went down to the media room in Mackey to edit my photos. I edited the mornings take, and I then shot two volleyball games. I stayed after the games to edit the photos and create a time lapse video. When I left it was around 11 o’clock at night, and it was raining very slightly. As I walked away from the stadium I noticed how beautiful the rain made it look. I stopped to take just one more photo on the day. That photo is shown here. I wish that I had my tripod on me, but of course I did not. I had to make due with what I had. I am glad that I didn’t stay too much longer as it really started to pour not long after this was taken. I am glad that I stopped to make the photo though.
Starting Over
That editing that I performed on that day was the last that I would do on my old Mac. It took a little longer than normal, and I felt that I had to keep closing programs to make things run a little smoother. By the time that I went to start my computer back up again the following night it had died. A quick diagnostic showed that a faulty fan had taken the computer down. Of course on a Mac you cannot hear the fan to know if it is working or not. The good news is that I have a faster computer that from what I have seen makes my workflow very fast. The bad news is that I am still loading my programs and files back on to the computer. You never know when your computer may die so back things up as fast as you can.

Beautiful! 🙂
