James Marcus Haney and No Cameras Allowed
This past weekend I saw a great movie called No Cameras Allowed. I really enjoyed the entire movie from start to finish. It is a story about a young man named James Marcus Haney and his quest to make music images. Actually it begins with James sneaking into Coachella to see a girl. He is a film student so he uses his camera gear to get him into the event. The gear gives him legitimacy, but it also gives him an idea. He starts to make some footage and stills of what he sees. He then spends the summer sneaking into other festivals doing the same thing. This movie is a blend of music and photography that you do not want to end. I don’t know that I agree with his methods of getting his photos, but the results are very good. He has a talent for sure, and it will be fun to watch his career grow. One thing is for sure. This movie has inspired me. It has inspired me to try my hand at concert photography. A good movie should inspire, and this is a good movie.
Is This Movie Fake?
I am the type of person that likes to believe in the best of everyone. Is this movie a real documentary? I have read a lot online to suggest that it is not real. This is a great movie to watch and to get inspired by. That is what a movie is supposed to do isn’t it? As long as I look at it that way I know that I will be entertained. I think that it is a great way to look at this movie. Just watch it and enjoy it. Below is the movie trailer.
