Waiting on the Sunrise in Ocean City

Sometimes the best part of the sunrise is the moments just before the sun comes up. The sky can be very pastel, and as the ocean reflects it it can be quite nice. I usually try and get to my destination around an hour before the sun comes up. That can lead to a very early wake up call in the morning, but after seeing the sun rise it is always worth it.

Using the Lee Big Stopper Again in Ocean City

I bought the Lee Big Stopper with Ocean City in mind. I think that it has many uses around town here, but shots like the one above make it worthwhile. By having a longer exposure I was able to smooth out the ocean a bit. I think that it is that smoothing that makes the photo.
