Frank Muffin Plays at OUTfest
As I was leaving OUTfest after shooting the roller derby scrimmage I noticed this great blue sky. We were headed to the elevator to cross the Wabash when I saw that I could get right behind the band. I liked the idea of this photo with the courthouse as a great background. I only shot for a few seconds, but I guess that I should have stayed. An amp caught fire on the stage during the bands performance. I guess after the fire was put out the band played We Didn’t Start the Fire by Billy Joel. It sounds like the band has a good sense of humor along with a wide range of music.
Back to Posting Daily
I am getting back into the groove of posting to this blog daily. After planning many posts to automatically publish during my vacation I am back to writing a post a day. It is kind of freeing not having to write everyday, but I also enjoy it. I still am usually a day ahead of time unless I have something timely to post. It is weird to look at my scheduled posts and see it empty though. The pressure is on to keep the content coming. I have now posted at least one photo a day on this blog for almost three years now. That is not easy to come up with a photo a day. Thankfully I have a large collection of photos that I can pick and choose. As the sports season gets closer and closer I know that I will have newer content coming. For now though enjoy the end of the off season for me.
