Photo of the Day
One year ago today I was married in Columbus, Ohio. It was a great day that we were both looking forward to. The photo above was taken during the weekend while walking around town. I loved how they had made the new sports district downtown. They had made a great area in a part of town that was left for dead. I did not make all of the photos that I wanted to make in the short time that I was there, but I was on my honeymoon after all. This arch I thought was an amazing addition to the district that really stood out.
Technical Data
For this photo I had a little fun. I edited this photo right when Lightroom 5 came out. I used the perspective tools in the program to give this photo the look that it would have had if I was using a tilt shift lens on location. I also used the strong HDR Look preset to give it the look that I have been liking. A few tweaks to the preset and we were ready to export it to SmugMug.
