Photo of the Day
While in Chicago I tried to photograph things other than the landmarks. While walking towards the Art Museum on Friday I noticed a bunch of men rappelling from the roof of a building. They each picked a window, and started cleaning it. This was a sort of circus act that cleaned windows. The beauty of this shot is that I took it from the vantage point of another image from the blog. The two statues having a stare down is right in front of this building. Had I not stopped to make a picture there I may never have seen this.
Technical Data
For this photo I got the tones where I wanted them, and then I pulled away all of the color from the photo. The gray skies during my trip made for a terrible background, but did provide a nice even light for my subject. I also used my 70-200mm lens with the 1.4x extender on it here to get in closer to my subject.
