Through This Door

Photo of the Day

This photo just feels right for today. This is a door of St. John the Evangelist Church in Indy. This was the first Catholic Church in Indianapolis, and the second iteration of that church.. The architecture is amazing, and is what I think of when I think of a church. It really does not matter what the church looks like, but there is something to be said for a large cathedral like this. This church has stood here since 1893. There is a lot of beauty here, but I thought that I would focus on one of the details here.

Technical Data

I ran this photo through a preset called HDR Look by Matt Kloskowski. I tweaked the sliders just a bit to get the image that I imagined on the scene that day.
