The last event of my weekend to cover was the final game of the Big Ten series between Purdue and Penn State. It has been great getting back to the diamond again, and this was a beautiful day to play baseball. One bonus when I went into the stadium was to see the Purdue baseball cards that they were handing out. I am pretty sure that I had a photo on a couple of those cards. As a former collector as a kid it was great to see my photo on one. The team also had some very sweet camouflage uniforms on. Over the course of a season it will be harder and harder to make a new picture each game. New uniforms make that easier. The photo that I chose to headline this post was one that was different for sure. This is the first time this season that I have seen a bat bow like this. I will have to keep an eye on my photos to see just how common this is. It was a little variation late in the game that made me glad that I kept on shooting.
