Photo of the Day
Yesterday I spent the day touring Chicago as a huge tourist. Normally I try and blend in, but I wanted to see some of the sites. My first stop was to the art museum for some inspiration. I love going to the Art Museum, and I try and get there any time that I am in Chicago. When I walked out of the museum I visited ‘the Bean’ as well the fountains here. Two years ago a small rain gave me a great reflecting surface to work with. Yesterday the same thing happened. Some people would see rain as a deterrent. I see it as an opportunity. I am sure that some of my photos from my trip will make their way to the blog over the next few weeks. This is just the first of many.
Technical Data
I used the HDR Look preset by Matt Kloskowski to start off here. From there I worked the sliders a bit to get the look that I wanted. While in the art museum I came up with some things that I liked in various works, and some of those looks show up here.
