Yesterday I shot the second day of the Big Ten Tournament. The first two games were really not what everyone expected going into the tournament. Penn State was the #1 overall seed, and you would have thought that they would have had an easy time with Ohio State. They did not as Ohio State led most of the way, and in dominating fashion. I thought that the Penn State loss would help Purdue’s chances getting to Sunday so that I could photograph them again. It was not to be though as Iowa beat the Boilermakers to send them home early. It was still a great experience photographing at the Big Ten Tournament. Shooting in an NBA venue is always a plus, although I think the light in Mackey might actually be better. Today I will have to switch gears very quickly as it is roller derby. A completely different sport and coverage type. I am sure that you will see some images from the bout on here tomorrow.
