Photo of the Day
Here is another photo from early in my photo 365 project taken at the windmills near Lafayette, Indiana. Early on I knew that I needed something besides the sunset in my photos. Something of interest in the foreground always helps a picture. When I first moved here I did not know the area well enough to know what else to put in the foreground so I spent a lot of time out at the windmills. While finding a new shot I might stumble across something else interesting, but the windmills would always be there to fall back on. I have really stopped shooting them lately. I think that I have found enough around here to shoot to give them a rest for a while.
Technical Data
This photo had a little too much at both the top and the bottom for me so I cropped it in on both ends. I think that the crop really helped put the focus back where it should be in the photo. I also tweaked some of the sliders in Lightroom to bring out the details that one exposure could not. I did not go heavy here, but I think I brought it close to what my eyes saw on that day.
