Remembering the Fall

Photo of the Day

On a day like today where we are covered in snow it is nice to think back to the fall when there were other colors on the ground besides white. This photo was taken early on in my photo 365 project. I took a bike ride to campus to see what I could capture with my camera. It was a fun trip which I have repeated since that time. The slow pace of the bike allows you to take in quite a bit on the way to and from campus as well. This spring I can’t wait to take the bike back to campus to see it as the colors come back.

Technical Data

Here there is not much to discuss. I shot everything in jpeg at the time so if I was a little off with something it was hard to fix. That was good though as I didn’t depend on post very much at all. I got things right in the camera. For this photo I just used the sliders in Lightroom to bring out some of the detail in the shadows and highlights. I also adjusted the vibrance of the photo.
