Photo of the Day
Next to the museum where yesterdays picture came from is the historic Door Prairie Barn. This barn was built in 1878 by Marion Ridgeway who kept draft horses there. It is very unusual because it has nine sides, and it has become quite iconic. The city of LaPorte has used it for years as a symbol of the town. I liked this scene during a good snow a few days ago.
Technical Data
I used one of Matt Kloskowski’s HDR in Lightroom presets for this photo. I think that it gives it a little added punch. I adjusted the vibrance a bit to make the red of the barn stand out a bit. A crop was also applied to get rid of the dead space at the top and bottom of the photo.
