Photo of the Day
As the weather cleared a few days ago I went for a short drive to see if their was anything picture worthy after the storm. The roads in the country were still not very good so I decided to cut the trip short. I did make a couple of pictures that I really liked though. I have photographed this barn before, but something about it that day made me want to photograph it again. I think it was the fact that it was the only real color in the entire scene. This time of year you will do anything for a little color.
Technical Data
For this photo I really wanted to accentuate the red in the barn. I used the strong HDR in Lightroom preset by Matt Kloskowski to start off. This free preset really put things in the right direction. I then adjusted both the vibrance and saturation two bring out the color in the barn. I rarely touch the saturation slider in Lightroom, but here I think that it really helped.
