Photo of the Day
Last night after dinner we drove into Lafayette to check out the Christmas lights. I went to the top of a familiar parking garage to see what the town looked like from up there. I have made many nice pictures up here so I know what I am getting as I drive up. I had this shot in mind as I did so, and it looks pretty much like I thought it would.
Technical Data
This photo really could have been great done correctly in HDR. I did not have my tripod lock with me so that could not happen here. Maybe later in the year I will try it again to see what I could do here. For this photo I simply took the RAW file into Silver Efex 2 to apply the Fine Art Preset that I like so much in the program. It really gives my black and white photos a look that I like.
