Photo of the Day
Here is yet another photo taken at the Purdue Memorial Union last week. With all of the gingerbread houses it was like shooting fish in a barrel. There was a photo everywhere I turned. This time of year that is a good thing. I liked this candy sculpture of Santa Claus that was on display. It had something to it that I really thought looked good.
Technical Data
For this photo I used the HDR Look preset by Matt Kloskowski to start off. From there I had a few slider adjustments to make to get the photo right. I was relying on aperture priority mode a little too much while shooting. The light background and white beard threw the camera off a bit. I had to really adjust the exposure in Lightroom to get the photo to look right. This was one occasion where shooting in RAW really helped me out.
