Photo of the Day
Last night I shot the season opener for Purdue Basketball. I had this idea for a picture during the first game I was on the floor in Mackey, but I did not have the right lens for it. I used my 60D and the 8mm fisheye lens to get this effect. It allows you to take the entire scene in. I think that the shot worked fairly well. The fisheye is a lens that you carry around for what usually amounts to one shot. I tried to take more to make it pay off last night, but this was by far the best shot with it.
Technical Data
I wanted something quick and easy here so I used the HDR in Lightroom preset by Matt Kloskowski. This is a nice way to get a gritty look very quickly. It is a little over the top, but I think that helps the shot.
