Throwback Photo
This week seems like a great one to have a Throwback Thursday. It was a regular feature on here for a while that just kind of died off. Last week I read a great article on some of the cameras that changed the industry. You can find the Gizmoco article here. The camera that really got me back into photography was the Sony Mavica. The picture above was made with one of the Mavica cameras. To me it was ahead of its time. In fact it was so good that it may have slowed my progression to an SLR. This shot of Tony Stewart bumping Ricky Rudd at Bristol may not be the best, but for a point and shoot from the stands it is pretty good. I would love to try a few more shots with this camera. The only problem is that I don’t know how I would get the images off of the floppy disks.
Technical Data
There is not a lot to say here. This file really couldn’t take too much editing. I did adjust the vibrance and the highlights, but not much else was done to this photo.
