Photo of the Day
Today I photographed the Purdue football game against #4 Ohio State. I went into the game with big expectations. Maybe they were too big, but I had gear with me in case the major upset happened. The Vegas odds had Purdue as 32 point underdogs the last time that I checked. Today was a day were nothing really went right for Purdue. An early pick six put Purdue behind from the get go. From there it seemed as if Purdue was just a step behind. They were close to getting the big tackle, but close does not count. I think that the picture above really shows how the day went. You have two Purdue defenders on the ground just out of reach of making the tackle. You then have the linebacker bearing down to make the play. The first defender(s) did not seem to make the play today. When you are a heavy underdog you have to play a perfect game. That did not happen today. Next week Iowa comes to town. We will see how the Boilers rebound from a tough loss.
Technical Data
The first step here was a small crop to bring the action in a bit more. I then made a couple of tweaks to get the file to look good using the sliders in Lightroom. There really was not a lot done here.
